Parameter Group List MQGA

This screen is used for viewing lists of defined Parameter Groups. Actions available on this screen also allow you to amend defined groups or to create new ones by transferring you to the screen MQGB.

You can change the appearance of the list view:

Action	Description
Edit Copy	This action takes you to the screen Parameter Group - Copy, MQGB. This screen is used to copy a parameter group definition to a new name. This is normally done when two similar groups are needed; one group is defined completely, then copied, and changes are made to the copy as required.To copy an existing parameter group, select the group to be copied (move the cursor to the line containing its name and description) then use the Copy action. When the screen MQGB appears, it displays the name and description of the selected entity; overtype these fields with the new name and description, and use Update. (If the new name you have entered matches a parameter group identifier which already exists, an error message will be displayed and the update will not occur; you must change the name before you can save a new copy of the parameter group definition.)
