This screen is used to specify what programs are going to be used for the validation of data entered in parameters in a Parameter Group. This screen can be reached either from Parameter Group - Amend, MQGB, or Parameter Group - Amend Parameters, MQGC.
There are two formats; the first contains program names and descriptions, the second format displays the Group's creation date, and the date, time and user ID for the last update to the Group definition. (There is no illustration of the second format.)
Any number of validation programs may be nominated for use by a Parameter Group. There can be multiple references to a single program within a Group. The order in which programs are listed has no significance.
Association of a validation program with a parameter is done on screen Parameter Group - Amend Validation Program Relationships, MQGF, which is reached from this screen by means of the Relationships action.
Optional. This column contains the identifiers (names) of the programs required to perform validation of parameters defined in the current group. Any number of programs (including zero) can be specified; any one program may be specified more than once. There is no significance to the order in which programs are specified or displayed in the list.
Display only. This column contains the descriptions of the programs beside the corresponding identifiers.
