Screen Specific Information

This screen builds a list of the companies which are recognised by the QED system.

Before any entities, mappings, or functions can be created, a company must exist. All other definitions depend on a company, which contains control data specific to QED. Company records are maintained using the screen Company Controls - Edit, MQSB.

MQSB is accessible from this screen by using the Amend, Insert or Copy actions; see MQSB Company Controls - Amend for full descriptions of these operations.

Screen Specific Actions

Action	Description
Edit Amend/ Edit Insert/ Edit Copy	These actions all transfer you to the screen Company Controls - Amend, MQSB; however, the use of the screen varies slightly depending on which action was used to invoke it. All these uses are described in MQSB Company Controls - Amend.
List Entities	This action can be used on a selected company. It transfers you to the screen Entity - List, MQEA. This screen builds a list of the entities which have been defined for the selected company. From MQEA you can reach the screen Related Entities - List, MQEG, to display the relationships between entities diagrammatically. Entities are defined on the screen Entity - Edit, MQEB.
List Functions	This action can be used on a selected company. It transfers you to the screen Function - List, MQFA. This screen builds a list of the functions which have been defined for the selected company. Functions are defined on the screen Function - Edit, MQFB.
List Mappings	This action can be used on a selected company. It transfers you to the screen Mapping - List, MQMA. This screen builds a list of the mapping which have been defined for the selected company. Mappings are defined on the screen Mapping - Edit, MQMX.
List Presentations	This action can be used on a selected company. It transfers you to the screen Field Presentation - List, MQPA. This screen builds a list of the field presentations which have been defined for the selected company. Field presentations are defined on the screen Field Presentation - Edit, MQPB.
