Region Status List MAQD

This screen allows you to monitor the progress of any regions defined to the system.

Opens from System Controls: Region Status.

To start an inactive region:

  1. Select a region and click the Start button.
  2. The Start Executor screen MANW appears for you to confirm your action.
  3. Perform the following tasks from the pull-down menu:

Action

Description

Force Start

Click Command: Force Start to display the Start Region screen MANW to force start a currently inactive region. A confirmation window appears for you to confirm the request.

This submits the JCL script to the operating system, which is maintained on the Region screen MANP.

Only one dispatcher region can be active at a time. The system rejects an attempt to restart a currently active dispatcher region.

The system also accepts but ignores an attempt to restart a currently active executor region.

NOTE Due to polling delay of background processing, there can be a delay before the region is flagged as active.

Queues

Click Display: Queues to display the Task Queue Controller screen MAQB for viewing tasks or amending the queuing attributes of tasks on the task queue.

Start
