Function Edit MQFB

This is the main screen used for creating and amending functions.

Functions are defined using standard MDL statements. The main part of the screen is a standard MDL window, and the usual MDL facilities (such as Draw, Word Help, Syntax Check, and Prompts) are available together with all Clipboard options.

NOTE The Syntax Check can only check that individual statements in the function definition are syntactically correct. The check does NOT verify the existence of either an ACCEPTS or RETURN statement. You must ensure that these elements of the definition are included.

MQFB Fields

Class

The class of the data returned by the function. (This field can be amended on either format.) All QED classes are valid.

NOTE Field visibility can be defined by your System Administrator, so not all fields documented may be shown.
