Standard Text Reference Edit MPXV

Standard Text References allow you to construct pieces of text on the system which are identified by the code attached to each. The text is saved on the system and may be retrieved for use either with Items or Documents.

Text may be printed on hard copies of the documents or may be used for enquiry purposes by targeted recipients.

Text can be imported onto documents at the header or line detail stages.

The text created and maintained in this function can be manipulated during document creation/amendment to suit requirements specific to the document.

Note Modifications to text descriptions during data entry do not update the Standard Text Reference.

The screen is available in two modes, Mode 1 gives access to all fields including the text field on a line by line basis, whilst Mode 2 only gives access to the text field on a word wrap basis for continuous input.

Open from Text Reference: Sales Order Processing.
