Request Edit MAOB

You can set up requests on the system to run one or more specified schedules. When you request a schedule to be run, then that schedule will be run to completion with messages etc being directed to the user making the request.

Opens from Request List MAOA.

On the Request screen, enter the following fields:

  1. Enter a valid User ID. When you right click, the associated description displays. Users can define requests that only they own.
  1. Enter a valid Process ID. When you right click, the associated description displays.  
  1. Enter a Request ID, up to 8 alphanumeric characters.
  1. Enter a Description for the request, up to 40 characters.
  1. We recommend clicking the check box for Default Reports. If you click the check box, all available reports will be output from this request. Leave blank if you do not require reports.
  1. If desired, enter any optional fields. Access the online help system for detailed information.
  1. Click the Update button to accept the changes to the screen.

Repeat these steps for each process listed in the schedule.

Click Display: Parameters to display the parameter program designated for this request.

Click Maintain: Parameters to display the parameter program designated for this request for you to maintain.

Reports

Click Display: Reports to display the Request/Report screen MAOC.

Reports

Click Maintain:| Reports to display the Request/Report screen MAOC for you to maintain the report.

Submit

Click Queue: Submit to display the submission window for you to confirm the submission.

Active Requests

Click Display: Active Requests to display the active requests or processes for users on the List Active Requests screen MAQC.
