Multiple Item Prices Edit MPIS

NOTE Screen MPIS provides a full editable list of Item Prices

MPIU is drilled down from a list of prices and is the edit screen for a single price.

Item Price Lines allows the user to enter and maintain details of price lines for the Item/Supplier combination specified. To enter price details you must have previously defined the price group to which they belong.

Multiple sets of price details can be held for the Supplier/Item combination and these are identified by the currency code and effective date. Item price details may be held in various currencies if the Supplier to which they relate is a multi- currency Supplier.

You may also enter up to three levels of trade discount applicable to the price group.

Prices must be defined with an effective date and a quantity. You can also specify an expiry date if the price is time limited.

You can define price breaks for a specific item based on quantity ordered and attach these to a price type. In this way you can define quite complex pricing structures to enable different prices to be specified based on date, quantity, supplier and price type.

Screen Specific Actions

Action	Description
View Item Supplier	Takes you to the Item Supplier - View screen MPIL. The currently selected Item/Supplier combination is displayed.
Amend Item Supplier	Takes you to the Item Supplier - Amend screen MPIL. The currently selected Item/Supplier combination is displayed.
