PPM Archiving Parameters ML1A

This parameter screen is sued to drive the data that will be removed as part of the Proposed Project archive.

User

The code for the user, defined as the owner of the request.

Schedule

The code for the schedule.

Process

The code for the process.

Request

The code for the request. It is part of the request key and ensures that requests for the same user-schedule-process is unique.

All Companies

Tick to indicate that the request relates to all proposed project companies on the system.

Only proposed project companies with a default archive status code defined will be extracted. Projects that are currently at this status code and have not been updated for the required number of archive days will be processed.

Report/Update

Select one of the following options.

Report Only - Proposed Projects eligible for archiving will only be reported and no updates will occur.
Report / Update - Projects eligible for archiving will be extracted and removed from the live database. If Table archiving has been set on system controls for PPM, then the data will be copied to the corresponding history tables. A report will also be produced showing the selected projects and summary totals of the extracted data.
Update Only - As the Report Only option but without a report being produced.
