Nominal Edit MEBB

Enter the Group to which the account belongs. Press Enter to display the group description.

Enter the Category to which the account belongs. Pressing Enter displays the category description.

In Normal Posting Type, select one of the following: Debit, Credit or Both.

In Type, select either Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss.

If Revaluation Allowed is checked on the Currency/Grp Categ format of Nominal screen MEBB, the Revaluation Data screen MEBC appears. From this screen, amend the revaluation account and offset for multi-currency nominals that allow revaluation.

If Update Control = Mandatory or Optional for a structure definition on the Structure Controls screen MECD, the Path Code List screen MEBK appears. Refer to Structures for more information.

Screen Specific Actions

Action	Description
RELATIONSHIPS VIEW/AMEND	Click Relationships \| View/Amend to display a window to specify the management or analysis code relating to the relationship you want to view or to amend. Request the action again and the Nominal/Management Code Relationship screen MEBF appears.
REVALUATION VIEW/AMEND	Click Revaluation \| View/Amend to display the Revaluation Data screen MEBC. Defines the revaluation and offset currency accounts to receive the contra postings when currency revaluation is performed on this nominal. To use this action, the nominal must have a foreign currency code and Revaluation Allowed must be checked.
ALTERNATE BALANCE SHEET	Click Alternate \| Balance Sheet to display an alternate format of the Nominal screen MEBB, for specifying alternate groups and categories for this nominal
