Ticket Data Entry Header MCDA

When you select the option to insert a new ticket transaction, this screen will be presented. It is used to enter controlling details for a batch of tickets.

To create a new ticket batch you must:

The Batch number will be automatically generated as soon as you try to enter a ticket.

Note that this screen functions differently to standard transaction entry in Accounts Receivable in that a Batch is ALWAYS created once you elect to insert a transaction. If you subsequently abandon the input without updating the batch, then the created batch is set to a status of disabled and will appear on audit reports.

You can return to this screen at any time during the entry of tickets and choose to amend or purge an existing ticket in the batch by selecting it from the list provided.

When you are happy with the ticket details entered, click Update to commit the batch to background processing.

If not described elsewhere in this topic, click in the field and press F1 to view a description. See Common Fields for more information.
