Menu Edit MAEB

Use this screen to customise system menus to suit your needs. Each menu must be given a name by which the system will recognise it and a corresponding description.

Opens from Menu List MAEA.

The body of each menu can then be build by adding in links to other menus or adding program identities. In each case, the existing description of the menu / program can be changed if required just for this menu.

You can optionally add parameters for programs entered onto the screen. Some programs will require parameters in order to work (such as an edit screen, which will require the INTENT as a minimum). Parameters are defined in the same way as a fast path would be entered on the command line. For more information on Parameters and Fast paths see Navigation - Using the Command Line.

If not described elsewhere in this topic, click in the field and press F1 to view a description. See Common Fields for more information.

Fast prompt allows you to quickly view a list of options for certain fields.

NOTE Field visibility can be defined by your System Administrator, so not all fields documented may be shown.

See Using the Command Line on opening the screen without going through the menu.
