Facility denials control access to system actions known as facilities. Each system program allows for multiple facilities, such as amending, inserting, purging, copying and listing the data that the program maintains.
Opens from Facility Denials List MADC.
Some programs are related; denying a facility for one program can simultaneously deny a facility for a related program. For example, if a user's access to listing country codes is denied, the system automatically updates any related program that prompts to the country list. Therefore, the user cannot access the country list. The system links denials to the security group, rather than to an individual security profile.
Depending upon the selection criteria entered, the Facility Denials List screen MADC creates a list of possible access denials for security group and program combinations. To display all programs, enter the security group. The system highlights those programs with one or more denied facilities. Enter program criteria to display all security groups with denials set for the entered program. Highlighted programs indicate that denials are specified on that program for a particular security group.
