Charts

The charting option allows the creation and manipulation of data in a graphical format.

Click Chart.

Tip This button will only be visible once the List Data is populated.

Once clicked the charting screen opens and the button text changes to Data. This is then used to toggle the screen between the data (list screen) and the graphical interface.

Do not use the Cancel or Exit buttons as this will close the screen and you will lose your setup.

The chart is built using the List Data. The List control provides search/filter capability that can be applied to the List Data. If applied and a chart is generated the chart will be produced using the filtered data.

Charting Screen

The charting screen comprises three tabs, a selection of default chart types and the graphical area where the charts are displayed.

Description

Choose chart display

Choose how you want the chart data to be displayed by selecting one of the radio button options.

Display Arrows

Use the arrows to hide the tabs and chart options from view. Click again to re display them.

 

Expand / Contract

Click to expand the chart size to the full browser width. Click again to restore the original size.

Close

Click to exit the charting screen and to return to the data list screen.

Chart Help

Click to directly access the help for the charting screen.

Print Chart

Click to select a print option.
  • With Data
  • Without Data
The chart is displayed in a browser window where a print option can be selected such as print to PDF etc.

Charting with Aged Debt Analysis MBPD

  1. Select the Overdue/Future Balances tab to display Period information.
  2. Click Chart. The charting screen opens.
  3. Select the Data Values as required. These will appear left to right in the order they are clicked. Amend the chart colours as required as detailed earlier in this topic.
